Description
In 1997, Alford Inspection Inc. was founded as a small inspection company. Later renamed Alford Services Inc. (ASI) in 2000, ASI began to concentrate our services on providing safety-related personnel and equipment. From this effort, Alford Safety Services Inc. (ASSI) was born. Soon after, a lack of adequate safety training in the area led ASSI to develop its first safety training facility. A continued dedication to safety has enabled ASSI to become the largest safety-training provider in the Gulf South. The Alford family of companies continued to expand by incorporating Alford Safety and Compliance, LLC (ASC) in 2006. ASC provides drug and alcohol testing, as well as facility and vessel security inspections.
Falck Alford is headquartered in Houma, Louisiana, about 60 miles southwest of New Orleans. We operate training centers in Lafayette, New Orleans, and Houma, Louisiana as well as our newest facility in Houston, Texas.
